Help us to help you!
To redeem a mail-in rebate offer from Memorex, it helps to follow these tips. Complying with each tip below helps ensure that all qualified rebates are granted, and that there are no unnecessary delays in the delivery of rebate checks.
When redeeming a mail-in rebate offer, you will generally be required to include these three items in your submission envelope:
- Rebate Submission Form — This may be a standard paper form, or it may have been generated at the bottom of the cash register receipt from the store where you purchased your Memorex product.
A fully completed form is almost always required as part of your rebate submission. Check the terms and conditions of the offer to be sure — and then comply with those terms and conditions.
- Original Cash Register Receipt — Photocopied receipts may not be acceptable. Check the terms and conditions of the offer to be sure — and then comply with those terms and conditions.
- Original UPC Code — Also referred to as a "bar code". This must be cut from the original product packaging; photocopies are not acceptable.
Make sure you are in compliance with all the terms of the rebate offer. Remember:
- Timing is everything. Make sure the date on the cash register receipt is dated within the designated period for that offer.
- The perfect match. Be sure that the UPC code and cash register receipt are both for the same product — and be sure that that's the product listed in the rebate offer.
Likewise, if the rebate offer is specific to a designated store, make sure the cash register receipt is from that particular store.
- Keep it legible. Make sure the receipt, UPC code and rebate submission form you send in are readable, and that no required information is torn off or crossed out.
Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing and delivery of your rebate. Although we try to process and deliver your rebate faster, we can't guarantee that it will arrive any sooner.
