DIGITAL EXPERIENCE AT CES, LAS VEGAS– Jan. 7, 2009 – Taking large screen flat panel TVs to new heights, Memorex, a portfolio brand of Imation Corp. (NYSE: IMN), today introduced the Memorex Elite Pro Wall Mount, the world’s thinnest full-motion wall mount. Featuring a patent-pending, space saving design and sturdy, heavy-gauge steel construction, the Memorex Elite Pro Wall Mount supports LCD and plasma televisions as few as 1.5 inches from the wall.

The Elite Pro Wall Mount utilizes the same proprietary space-saving design as the Memorex Lite Wall Mount, a 2009 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Award Honoree. With additional support to hold LCD and plasma televisions measuring up to 60 inches and weighing up to 185 pounds, the Memorex Elite Pro Wall Mount was engineered at Imation’s research and development facility in Oakdale, Minn. with the style-conscious home theatre enthusiast in mind.

The Memorex Elite Pro Wall Mount puts the focus on the screen, not the hardware that holds it in place. Featuring TorqControl™ technology for level retention and smooth, full-range motion, the viewer can easily pan, swivel, extend, retract and tilt the screen to enjoy the home theatre experience from anywhere in the room. The mount can tilt down 70 degrees with a 32-inch flat panel display and swivels up to +/- 25 degrees.

Able to hold a flat panel TV just 1.5 to 2 inches from the wall, depending on TV weight, the Memorex Elite Pro Wall Mount also features a sophisticated cable management system to keep cords tucked away neatly and cleanly. A complete hardware kit and built-in level make for easy, user-friendly installation.

By appointment only, the Elite Pro Wall Mount can be demonstrated for visiting press in Las Vegas during the week of International CES.

Pricing and Availability

The Memorex Elite Pro Mount MX-2100 will be available at authorized Imation distributors, wholesalers, resellers and e-tailers in March for a suggested retail price of U.S. $499.99.
