The Memorex Lite Wall Mount is the world's thinnest full-motion wall mount, featuring a patent-pending, space-saving design that mounts LCD and plasma televisions as few as 1.5 inches from the wall.
The CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards recognize the most innovative and best designed consumer electronics. Every year, a preeminent panel of judges comprised of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade press, gather to select award honorees. This year, the judges selected the Memorex Lite Wall Mount as an honoree in the category of Home Theatre Accessories for the product's engineering, aesthetic and design qualities; user value; and unique features.
Engineered at Imation's research and development facility in Oakdale, Minn. and marketed under the Memorex brand, the Memorex Lite Wall Mount features a proprietary patent-pending, space saving design and sturdy, heavy-gauge steel construction that mounts 30-inch to 50-inch LCD and plasma televisions of up to 150 pounds, as few as 1.5 to 2 inches from the wall, depending on TV weight.
The wall mount's unique TorqControl™ technology enables level retention and smooth, full-range motion, allowing the viewer to swivel, extend, retract and tilt the screen to enjoy the home theatre experience from any angle. The mount can tilt down 70 degrees with a 32-inch flat panel display and swivels up to +/- 25 degrees.
