DIGITAL EXPERIENCE AT CES, LAS VEGAS - Jan. 7, 2009-Memorex, a portfolio brand of Imation Corp (NYSE: IMN), today announced the addition of TouchMP, its first touch screen portable media player (PMP) to its stylish line of consumer electronics. The 8GB Memorex TouchMP connects consumers to memorable video and audio moments with ultimate portability. Whether you're looking for a great travel diversion, a way to share photos and video with friends, or simply to enjoy favorite music, Memorex TouchMP offers a smart and affordable option. The player will be on display at the Pepcom Digital Experience event from 7 to 10 p.m. tonight at The Mirage.

Memorex TouchMP gives consumers access to 8GB of their favorite music, video and photos from a 2.8-inch QVGA color display and touch screen LCD with 320x240 resolution that supports full-screen photo viewing and large album art to accompany your playlists. The custom user interface, adaptable to portrait or landscape mode, makes this PMP extremely easy to use.
TouchMP plays both video (WMV, MPEG-4, AVI in MP4 format) and audio (MP3, WMA, WAV), and displays photos in JPEG format. Included software allows users to convert a wide array of other types of audio and video files to work with the TouchMP. The rechargeable battery lasts for up to 50 hours of audio and three hours of video playback. It also includes a digital FM radio, podcast support and Audible™ support for downloading audio books. A micro SD card slot supports up to 8GB of additional capacity for even more enjoyment of music and memories.
Pricing and Availability
The Memorex TouchMP digital media player will be shipping to retailers in March with 8GB of flash-based capacity for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $99.99.
